Manufacturing at Smolensk Hosiery Cotton Knitting Factory started in 1953 with the production of women’s stockings with heels from “kapron” fibre, and relief designed men’s socks with elastic threads, knitted inside, which replaced suspenders.
Since that time, the range of goods has been enlarged, and, apart of socks and stockings, the factory started the production of tights and knitwear garments for all age groups. The renovation with modern equipment has been realized at the factory.
The factory sells its products under trademarks «SMOLENSKIE», «KAPRIZULIA», «FENICE» and «NASHE» with federal distributors, bulk customers, and own retail chains - «NASHE», «Kaprizulia», «Fenice» and «Nina».
In 2017 the factory got a new name – “NASHE”. Only two things, which are the most important, were unchanged: our people, whose labour dynasties date back to 1953, and the factory’s building, located on the bank of the river Dnieper in ancient city Smolensk.
